ACRL-OR is excited to launch a new professional development initiative.

You are invited to attend the inaugural video hangout, Data Management with Amanda Whitmire, on Tuesday, May 27th from noon-1:00pm. Amanda will provide a brief overview of data management in academia and then facilitate a group discussion. Bring your questions and experiences to enhance the group learning opportunity! Amanda Whitmire, Ph.D. is Data Management Specialist/Assistant Professor at Oregon State University Libraries; she focuses on training in data stewardship for grad students and faculty, data curation in OSU’s IR, and consulting on data management plans.
 
Google Video Hangouts are limited to 10 concurrent attendees. Please email Uta.Hussong-Christian@oregonstate.edu if you plan on joining the hangout, and provide the email address you want the hangout invite sent to. You will need Google Hangouts installed on your device.
