Kathy Stroud recently joined UO Libraries as our new David and Nancy Petrone MAP/GIS Librarian.

Kathy comes to us from the University of California, Davis, where she worked in a biological/agricultural sciences and map services reference department and in the Government Information/Maps department in the Shields Library. Prior to that, she served as a Government Documents/Maps Librarian at University of Maryland Libraries.

She has been actively involved with the Western Association of Map Libraries, the North American Cartographic Information Society, the University of California/Stanford Map Libraries Group, and divisions within the American Library Association.
