Save the Date! Webinar Event and Social Event on May 9th

ACRL-OR is pleased to announce that it will host two events on Friday, May 9th. Please save the date and your afternoon for a professional development webinar and your late afternoon/early evening for an ACRL-OR social gathering.

From 3:00-5:00pm, ACRL-OR will host an in-person professional development webinar (and subsequent discussion of): Out of the Library and Into the Community: Academic Libraries and Community Engagement. This will be a viewing of the archived version of the ACRL webinar: http://www.ala.org/acrl/outofthelibrary.

The webinar event will be held at OHSU Library/Biomedical Information Communication Center (BICC), room 124.  There is metered parking directly across from the BICC off Sam Jackson Park Rd: http://www.ohsu.edu/xd/education/library/about/directions.cfm.  RSVPs are not required but are encouraged so that we can plan accordingly. Contact Uta.Hussong-Christian@oregonstate.edu.

At 5:30pm, please join us for the First ACRL-OR 2014 Social at the Raven & Rose, upstairs in the Rookery: http://www.ravenandrosepdx.com/. All are welcome, and we look forward to this chance to relax and catch up with our colleagues!
