PSU Librarians Honored in LIRT’s Top 20 of 2010

The scholarship of two Portland State University librarians has been honored by the Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT). Bob Schroeder, Education & University Studies Librarian and General Education Instruction Coordinator, and Adriene Lim, formerly Associate University Librarian and Interim University Librarian, each had articles chosen as one of LIRT’s Top 20 articles in 2010 related to library instruction and information literacy. The entire list of Top 20 articles can be found in LIRT’s June 2011 newsletter.

Professor Schroeder’s article, “Valuing Information Literacy: Affective Learning and the ACRL Standards,” co-authored with Elyssa Stern Cahoy, was published in Portal: Libraries and the Academy.

Professor Lim’s article, “The Readability of Information Literacy Content on Academic Library Web Sites,” was published in the Journal of Academic Librarianship.

Congratulations to both!
