Our New Federal Congress and Open Access Issues

I just received this month’s SPARC Open Access Newsletter in my inbox. It contains a hefty and thorough look at November’s election and the effects of it on public access initiatives that are underway, such as FRPPA (the bill that would extend the NIH Public Access Policy to 10 other funding agences).

Public access to federally funded research was one of the talking points at Library Advocacy Day back in July.

Take a peek at Peter Suber’s rundown of the issue here and happy reading!
