Local Collections and Publications Services (LCPS) team, new at Pacific University Library

Pacific University Library has formed the Local Collections and Publications Services (LCPS) team to develop and manage the library’s digital collections and to support online publishing activities.

Vision

In order to support the University’s emphasis on discovery through research, teaching and learning, all resources of creative, intellectual or historical value at Pacific University should be easily discoverable, openly accessible and persistently available both to those who created them and to those who may benefit from their use.

This team will develop digital collections that support the Pacific University and Library mission, collaborate with faculty members and researchers to make locally owned/created content more accessible, and offer services to enable University faculty, staff, and students to digitally publish and make available resources through CommonKnowledge.

Members of  LCPS would be interested in hearing from librarians at other institutions who are engaged in similar work or who may be interested in collaborative projects.

LCPS Members:

Erica Findley, Digital Resources and Metadata Librarian erica.findley@pacificu.edu

Isaac Gilman, Scholarly Communications and Research Services Librarian gilmani@pacificu.edu

Alex Toth, Social Sciences and Special Collections Librarian tothalex@pacificu.edu
