As many of you know, on May 11, 2011, Faye Chadwell was appointed the Donald and Delpha Campbell University Librarian at Oregon State University, following  Karyle Butcher, who retired from OSU in September 2010.  Chadwell served as OSU’s Interim University Librarian from October 2010 – May 2011, stepping up from her position as Associate University Librarian for Collections & Content Management, which she held since 2007. Prior to joining the OSU faculty, Chadwell worked at the University of Oregon Libraries for 12 years, and at the University of South Carolina for six years. She has a master’s degree in library science from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from Appalachian State University in North Carolina.  We at the OSU libraries are fortunate to have Faye’s leadership, knowledge, vision and energy to take us into the future.
