Gretta Siegel, PSU Science Librarian, has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Education’s new Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) library committee. The committee consists of 10 academic, special, and K-12 librarians with a mix of skills and experience from across the country, who will advise the Department on such topics as: journals and grey literature sources, as well as types of content appropriate for ERIC; changes to the ERIC Thesaurus to increase it’s usability and effectiveness for end-users; and ERIC outreach and services, including new features and technologies for ERIC.
